Got notice today that my BWV waitlist came through. Yeah! They were supposed to E-mail me the reservation. I have never had a standard view (less points and very hard to get)
Though I wanted to check out the new AKL DVC, BWV is my favorite DVC! Though I have only stayed at BWV, BCV, and VWL (my home resort)
I love the resort and its nearness to Epcot. Also as an original DVC resort I find the CM's more welcoming, the decor beautiful and the Boardwalk entertaining each evening.
Of course my Jiko reservation may be changed.

Well, it's great that you like BWV so much, but it's not the original of course. OKW is the original, back when it was the only one, it was called The Vacation Club.

BWV came after, eh?

It's great that the wait list came through for you! Enjoy every minute of your time!

I know, I have a friend who bought OKW back in the day. What I meant was it was BUILT as a DVC not converted from a resort like BCV and the treatment shows. IMO.

Ah, yes. It was built to be a DVC along with a resort.

I like Beach Club Villas though, too. 'Course the Beach Club was the first deluxe resort that we stayed at, so that kind of tells the story, eh?

OKW is our home resort and still my favorite of all the DVCs. Haven't tried BLT or AKLV, yet but have a short stay at Kadani Village coming up!

Have a great time!

Beach Club is beautiful also BUT I found the pool dangerous for my Grand kids who were 5 and 9 when I went. Too popular, crowded and two spots that were dangerous. The whirlpool area is intense and there is another area where the water is 10 ft. Caught me off guard! It would be great for older kids or adults!

OKW. Is it true you must have a car to get around? That's why I have never stayed though I have heard they are larger and I know they are less points.
