Rumor has it Le Cellier is going to cost 2 ts credits on the ddp this fall. Would you still go?
I'm not a big Le Cellier fan. let me explain that. I've had ok meals there but one problem is that my family owned a restaurant in NYC for much of my youth and we have some really extrodianary (sp?) steak houses. I went 2X's after reading glowing reviews and was not bowled over. I always laugh when I read reviews and the best thing people like is the soup. So you go to an expensive steak house for the soup? That's like hearing people talk about the Olive garden and the bread is always what they rave about. ![]() Definitely would not give up 2 TS credits for it.

I went to Le Cellier for the first time last summer, I was not impressed with it.....prefer Yachtman's Steakhouse.
I do not usually do the dining plan, but if i was using it then, no. Last edited by debbiedoo; 05-28-2010 at 10:06 PM. |

Not impressed either though I don't eat steak! This past Dec we did almost all sig restaurants and this doesn't compare to any of them.

Nope. Not worth the money. It's a boring place, with mediocre food and the soup is downright nasty! LOL. (Let me tell you how I really feel)! LOL.
YSH is nice, and the service there is great too! |

Honestly that decision is merely being based on it's popularity -not the quality. There is no way it is on par with some of the other Signature restaurants like Naraccossee or Jiko. They should figure out a way to expand it and get more seating but not make it a signature.
