Default Ever been in December? Advice? Tips?

We have always gone in the Fall, but I got a great deal and decided to surprise the family with a Xmas trip as their presents this year. Plus I now do not have to shop for Xmas

In any case we have never been this time of the year and I don't know what to expect. So anyone been this time and have any advice or tips for that time of the year? Going the middle of the month.

TIA!
Know

We will be there the week before Xmas week so I am hoping for 2 things-nice weather and relatively low crowds.

Weather will be a toss up. It could be beautiful and warm or it could be miserable, rainy and cold. That you'll have to wait and see once the time draws closer. Regardless, plan on dressing in layers so as the day warms up (generally the way things go that time of year) you won't swealter.

The week before christmas will be less busy than the hectic and totally chaotic week of christmas. You'll notice the crowds build as you approach christmas week.

All told though, you are going at a great time. The decorations, the festivity, the special events... all work to make christmas season at WDW a very special time.

Enjoy!
